KAABOO Cayman features culinary stars

November 6, 2018Blog

KAABOO, the international music, comedy, art and food festival, will make its Cayman Islands debut on February 15 and 16, 2019 at the festival grounds at 47 Sundown Close on the north side of Grand Cayman’s Seven Mile Beach.

Unlike other festivals where concessions are an afterthought, KAABOO brings food front and centre with PALATE, a curated selection of culinary offerings that promises to live up to the island’s reputation as “The Culinary Capital of the Caribbean.”

The showcase features unique fare from culinary superstars Michael Mina, Richard Blais, Michelle Bernstein and Nina Compton, 2018 James Beard South Award Winner for cuisine at her New Orleans restaurant Compère Lapin.

Rounding out the lineup is a host of local chefs and restaurants including Chef Maureen Cubbon, best known for her cooking classes at Bon Vivant at Camana Bay, Agua restaurant and Gelato & Co.

KAABOO Cayman features musical acts including The Chainsmokers, Duran Duran, Bryan Adams and Counting Crows. The comedy lineup will showcase stand up comedy from luminaries like David Spade, Tom Green, Darrrel Hammond and Wanda Sykes.

For more information on KAABO’s culinary, music and comedy lineups visit the KAABOO Cayman website.
