Camana Bay continues to go greener, one light bulb and solar panel at a time. Developer Dart Realty is executing a program to replace all the fluorescent light bulbs in the Town Centre with LEDs. Dart has safely crushed more than 5,000 bulbs and is shipping them to the U.S. for recycling which will keep mercury and phosphor out of the George Town landfill.
Dart Realty is also installing photovoltaic systems atop Camana Bay’s largest buildings, with a total of 1,171 panels harnessing renewable energy.
