The allure of readyspaces: A Q&A with Office Manager Crystal Silburn

Located in the Windward 3 building at Regatta Office Park, readyspaces is a shared workspace that offers flexible terms for small- and medium-sized businesses to quickly occupy office space. We sat down with readyspaces’ Office Manager Crystal Silburn to learn more about Regatta Office Park and what readyspaces has to offer.

GR: What do you do in your role?
CS: I manage the day-to-day operations of readyspaces. My days vary, but often involve managing client requests, leasing our office spaces, assisting with our tenants’ technical needs, handling meeting requests, coordination with our vendors, providing receptionist services and more – we basically do what it takes to allow our clients to focus on their business while we focus on the logistics.

GR: Can you tell me more about readyspaces?
CS: Readyspaces offers flexible and convenient turnkey offices and work spaces for businesses or individuals who need a small footprint or a short-term touch-down space. Our terms range from daily and weekly rentals up to 12-month contracts. Readyspaces offers fully furnished offices with high-speed wifi, a shared kitchen, member rates for our plug-and-play meeting rooms, shared copying, scanning and printing services, 24/7 secure access, receptionist services, cleaning services and security.

We also have two conference rooms – both of which can be booked via our online client portal for hourly or daily meetings, and the rooms can accommodate groups of up to six or 12 people comfortably.

GR: Who uses readyspaces?
CS: We currently have a mixture of companies and individuals who have relocated from overseas and use the space as a transition point while their permanent offices are being prepared.

There is a variety of local companies — from startups to smaller businesses to self-employed. Other local companies and organisations also book our conference rooms for client facing meetings or video conference calls.

Since we have a variety of business tenants working out of Regatta, it really creates a vibrant atmosphere.

GR: What’s the latest news at Regatta?
CS: Lots of people have been excited and lining up at the new Arepa 345 food truck right outside in the parking lot.

GR: What would surprise people about working in Regatta?
CS: The amenities and location really add to the experience of working in Regatta. It starts with ample parking, where it’s always easy to find an open space. We’re located in the Seven Mile Beach corridor, right next to the Esterley Tibbetts Highway, which allows us to get to all the restaurants and shops in the area — or to visit Camana Bay — very quickly. Those working here are literally steps away from the beach, so they can finish their day, leave their desk at 5 p.m. and be swimming in the beautiful blue sea off Seven Mile Beach at 5:05 p.m. No end to the day could be better!
