It’s a month of celebration at Dart Real Estate! We’re opening 62 condos at The Residences at Seafire, celebrating Camana Bay’s 10th anniversary, paving the way for the Esterley Tibbetts Highway, rejuvenating Paradise Villas in Little Cayman and we’re thrilled to have added The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman to our portfolio.

Jackie Doak traveled what she calls a “very wandering path” that led to her becoming the President of Dart Real Estate. She has been with the company since its flagship development, Camana Bay, and has helped the company break barriers on the island ever since.

Jackie Doak is known to most as the President of Dart Real Estate, but at home, she’s just “Mom”. Often described by her peers and employees as a superwoman, Jackie humbly concedes it isn’t easy juggling work and home. “With today’s technology and 24 hour connectivity, the concept of ‘work/life balance’ doesn’t exist; for me it’s work/life integration,” she said when asked how she fulfills the roles of president, wife and mother. “I carefully choose how I spend my time.”
The Cayman Islands’ biggest commercial real estate developer and the driving force behind Kimpton Hotels’ first Caribbean property, Kimpton Seafire Resort + Spa, Dart Real Estate is taking a shine to the hotel business and has its sights set on more. Under the leadership of founder Ken Dart, the company over many years has developed more than US$1.3 billion in mixed-use, residential, commercial, recreational, educational and hospitality properties throughout the Cayman Islands and is on the cusp of developing a second hotel property, a 5-star resort located on Grand Cayman’s Seven Mile Beach.
Today The Tory Burch Foundation launched its “Embrace Ambition” campaign, which encourages women to “fearlessly pursue your dreams and embrace your ambitions”. Today I can unequivocally say that I embraced my ambition, my passion and my desire to inspire the people who surround me to live their best lives, dream big and make a difference in all that we do each and every day.
Thirteen years ago Jackie Doak was hired as Dart’s Vice President of Sales. Her role grew to include leasing and, later, to oversee Dart’s first development in the Cayman Islands, Camana Bay. Today, as the President of Dart Real Estate, she is inspired by the knowledge that we create and invest in developments that will have a positive impact on the Cayman Islands.
