The Caribbean’s most anticipated new resort is officially open: the Kimpton Seafire Resort + Spa in Grand Cayman, Kimpton’s first international hotel. It’s a 266-room resort on the heart of Seven Mile Beach and a strikingly modern approach to Caribbean hotel design, one that works so well in part because it’s in one of the Caribbean’s most modern, forward-thinking destinations.
As its November opening date draws near, Grand Cayman is buzzing about Kimpton Seafire Resort + Spa, the island’s first new major resort in 11 years. And it appears that the northernmost hotel on famed Seven Mile Beach will be ready for its much-anticipated debut.
International Meetings Review recently toured the construction site of the ongoing Kimpton Seafire Resort + Spa project and can attest that the hotel looks like it will be completed on time for its scheduled November opening date.
Build it and they will come, is the philosophy being espoused by the Cayman Islands Government and some of the investors bringing new projects to the Cayman Islands, including Dart Realty and Kimpton Hotels.
