Kimpton Seafire Resort + Spa, developed by Dart Real Estate in the Cayman Islands, has been awarded the AAA Five Diamond Rating – the highest possible designation from the travel authority.
It’s easy to reclaim your inner calm at The Residences at Seafire as you dig your toes into the powdery-soft sand on Seven Mile Beach and watch your worries fade away with the last rays of daylight.
Complementing the Cayman Islands’ natural beauty and island hospitality are a robust economy and a modern, well maintained public infrastructure. Combined, these make the Cayman Islands not only a great place to visit, but a desirable place to call ‘home’.
Upon entering the Kimpton Seafire Resort + Spa, I immediately noticed the rolling blue waves. Those waves, however, were not the crystal clear water of the ocean right outside the resort, but the details of the lobby ceiling, which was inspired by the island and its culture.
Complementing Cayman’s natural attributes of sun, sea and sand is warm island hospitality, a robust economy, and modern, well maintained public infrastructure, which combine to make the Cayman Islands not only a great place to visit, but a desirable place to call ‘home’.
Dart Real Estate sought a design that would ensure an exceptional experience for guests as soon as they walk into the new Kimpton Seafire Resort + Spa, perched on Grand Cayman’s western shoreline, and adjoining Residences at Seafire.
You know when you’re traveling and your hotel just doesn’t feel like home? Between the tiny rooms and always busy lobby, there’s no space for you. Well, that is the exact opposite of what it’s like to stay at the recently opened Kimpton Seafire Resort + Spa on Grand Cayman Island. The culture of the island was effortlessly infused into almost every design element in the resort and the space was created for both locals and visitors to enjoy together.
Kimpton Seafire Resort + Spa on Grand Cayman offers a stylish vacation retreat paired with stunning private residences. The two new towers rising above legendary Seven Mile Beach on Grand Cayman Island are striking symbols of a new approach to architecture in the western Caribbean. Most of the 266 guestrooms and suites at the resort and all 62 of the residences boast beautiful views of the ocean or north sound as well as the lush terraces leading to Seven Mile Beach.
The Cayman Islands’ biggest commercial real estate developer and the driving force behind Kimpton Hotels’ first Caribbean property, Kimpton Seafire Resort + Spa, Dart Real Estate is taking a shine to the hotel business and has its sights set on more. Under the leadership of founder Ken Dart, the company over many years has developed more than US$1.3 billion in mixed-use, residential, commercial, recreational, educational and hospitality properties throughout the Cayman Islands and is on the cusp of developing a second hotel property, a 5-star resort located on Grand Cayman’s Seven Mile Beach.
Sustainable development can be defined as that which meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. Long-term vision is a quality many developers do not possess, but Dart Development does and the positive impact sustainable development can have on Cayman’s environment, economy and society cannot be understated.
